Amex Corporation is a family-owned property development company based in Perth, Western Australia. The company has its roots in the property industry as far back as 1971 when David Shephard began building homes and doing small developments in Perth. The business evolved during the 1970s and 1980s to eventually become Amex Corporation in 1987. It wa... s at this time that the business began to focus on residential estate development. In 1988 the business expanded into Queensland and then Victoria in 1993. Amex projects are a mix of fully-owned and joint ventured projects. Amex realises that the developments they create affect the lives of many people over long periods of time.
