The company was originally located in a former barn in the village of Saint-Chrysostome and its furniture-sales area covered more than 7000 sq. ft. Already back then, the firm's wide selection of products and low-price policy drew buyers from as far as Laval, Montreal, Lacolle and Sain... t-Jean-sur-Richelieu. In June 1995, Ameublement Machabée moved to new facilities in Saint-Isidore-de-Laprairie. With 65,000 sq. ft. of floor space on two levels, the firm stood out as the biggest and most spacious home furnishings store in the region.Today, Jean, André and Bernard Machabé have taken over from their father.
