He later moved to Arizona and worked within the construction industry as a Controller for mid-sized construction companies building new homes in Arizona and Hawaii. When the time was right, James decided to make a career change and started from the bottom up to learn the business as a loan originator and within a 2-year period started his own branch operation managing a group of loan officers in the residential mortgage industry.
