The school began primarily instructing in the art of Kenpo Karate, and now also offers Tai Chi Chuan, Qi gong and Kenjutsu. Their goa... l is to offer a variety of Martial Arts so that everyone interested in training can find something to fit their needs. Their classes cater to all ages, male and female, offering day and evening classes to accommodate a variety of needs and schedules. There are many physical and mental benefits. At American Karate, the students will benefit from increased flexibility and strength in a relaxed but disciplined atmosphere. It is important to us that you enjoy your training and wish to develop it further. You also will see the mental benefits encouraged. First and foremost is Self Confidence. You are encouraged to believe in your own powers and ability to succeed. Focus helps you to have a more concentrated attention span. Discipline helps you to train and develop your self control by exercise. Through Martial Arts training, your goal is to learn to apply these attributes to everyday life.Read More
