In November of 2009, Marianella Monica Pratt purchased American Industrial Control, Inc. and became President/CEO/Owner. With Monica's guidance, American Industrial Control, Inc. expanded its services from an authorized UL508a industrial control panel assembling shop, to distributing a full line of wholesale electrical supplies in June 2010. During... this expansion of services, AICES then began doing business under the fictitious name, American Industrial Control and Electrical Supply (AICES). With the new expansion, Monica began rebranding the company. AICES had a new logo designed and adopted the slogan "Wired to your success". AICES then began marketing themselves to Electrical Contractors, Retrofit Companies, private companies, and Federal, State, and Local government agencies. To assist with AICES appeal to their prospective customers, they present themselves as a Woman Minority Owned Small Business Enterprise. To do so, AICES has obtained official certifications for Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Business (EDWOSB), through the SBA, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), through the CUCP, Small Business Enterprise (SBE), through Metro, Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), through, SCMBC, Woman Business Enterprise (WBE), through WBENC, Woman Minority Business Enterprise (WMBE), through the CPUC Supplier Clearing House and Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), through SBA. Once these diversity certifications had been obtained, AICES than began attending various trade shows throughout the West Coast, such as Subs for Subs, WBENC Conference, Navy Gold Coast, NECA and various other local networking events introducing themselves under their new brand.
