He created the Money Group, which specialized in financing privately held mortgages and trust deeds. A founding Principal of American Financial, he spearheaded the company's entry into motion picture and technology financing. In the technology sector he was the prime architect in structuring, creating, and leveraging several million dollars of seed and start-up capital for early VoIP companies whose technology was essential for Vonage and other Internet-based telephone companies, and is still in active use today.
