About AmbuTrans
AmbuTrans operates its own in house maintenance facility staffed by Mechanics and Maintenance Technicians. Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing routine daily safety checks, assigning vehicles to operations staff, restocking vehicles with equipment and clean linen, checking fluids, belts and hoses, ensuring the exterior and interior cleanliness of all fleet vehicles, maintaining contact via two way radio with the AmbuTrans Communications Centre and servicing trouble calls as required. Maintenance Technicians are also required to drive company vehicles, perform routine maintenance jobs and repairs, under the supervision of a Mechanic, maintain shop cleanliness, work with minimal supervision and perform safety and security checks. AmbuTrans is a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week operation and, as such, this position involves shift work including weekends and overnights.Explore more
