Ambili Esthetics

My name is Sharleen Kalayil, owner of Ambili Esthetics. Though originating from India, I grew up mostly in Zimbabwe. I moved to Nova Scotia, Canada in 1995, where I attended St. Francis Xavier University and completed my BSc degree in Math and Computer Science. After working in the software industry for 3 years, I realized that my passion lay more... in working with people rather than computers! More specifically, I realized that I wanted an occupation where I could care for and nurture people, and use my skills and capabilities to help them appreciate themselves both inside and out. I attended Concepts School of Cosmetology, where I completed my diploma in Esthetics and graduated with highest theory marks. Over the following decade, I worked in leading urban day spas, offering the highest quality spa services. I continued to train, learn and expand my skills and knowledge in my field. I have undergone further training in advance pedicures, advanced skin care therapies, Brazilian waxing, makeup application, and I am certified in Reflexology, Clinical Skin Care, and Oncology Esthetics.
