We currently have a total staff compliment of 82, of which 16 are qualified journeymen, 7 apprentices, 12 in administrative roles and the remainder being manual workers. 6 of our current journeymen went through apprenticeships under our training and qualified through our guidance all through MERseta. The staff compliment is paid above the recommend... ed rates of MIBCO and a large proportion of our staff has been with the company for more than fifteen years. We boast a minimum staff turnaround with retirements rather than resignations. We comply with the regulations of the Department of Labour as well as hosting a training committee and OHS committee which both meet on a regular basis. The company has the highest grading of major structural repairer. Amalgamated Panelbeaters are a 51% black owned entity with a BBBEE Level 2, value adding service provider. We partake in socio economic development activities on a regular basis in the form of education sponsorships towards previously disadvantaged children. Scholars from schools that we have sponsored in the past include Colin Mann and Alberton High. We continuously donate essentials to orphanages and disadvantaged persons in the local community as well as sport equipment and sport sponsorship.
