AMA Group

AMA Group has its roots in a team of three young architects who founded a professional studio in 1967 in Rome, Italy. The work of this studio, then named MMV, covered a vast range of architecture, providing invaluable experience for the three young architects who worked together for almost 20 years. In 1989, the three went their separate ways. Dr.... Alfonso Mercurio founded A.M. Architetti. A massive collaboration with the semi-conductor industry was begun and work continued to expand progressively. In 1995, A.M. Associates was founded in Singapore to operate as the headquarters for the Far East and to keep abreast of developments in the regional market. Subsequently, A.M. Architects was established to handle all architectural services in Singapore. Before the opening of the Singapore branch, always with the intent to guarantee a reliable support to the construction of our projects, for two years has been operative the AMA USA, with office in Dallas. In 2002 AMA Associates opened a branch office, still active in Shanghai, while, the Lybian branch of AM Architects, with office in Tripoli, opened in 2005, with the clear aim to widen our range of activity, was inevitably shut at end of 2010. By this point, A.M. Architetti had become into the present-day organization, AMA Group. The company works with partners, associates and other consultants from all specializations to provide a full range of services related to project, design and construction management. New departments have been established within the Group to offer complete and integrated services to our clients: Mercurio Design Lab S.r.l., mainly oriented to the life-style architecture and HG Design., specialized in the interior design and restructuring field.
