My name is Angela Mullerworth and the idea for AM Services here in east devon was born from a realisation that it was sometimes very difficult for people to have their Wills written and they struggled with the complexities of creating a Lasting Power of Attorney. I came to understand that often people did not do these things for several reasons. Ma... ny people find the idea of going to a solicitor quite daunting and they are concerned that the costs will be very high. People may feel that they dont want to go to an office and discuss their most private wishes and feelings with someone they dont know. I found that people had often heard of their friends or familys difficult and costly experiences and this made them feel very vulnerable and fearful and usually resulted in them doing nothing at all about something that is actually very important to them. At AM Services, I want our clients to be at the core of everything I do. My aim is to provide Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and take the difficulty out of doing so. I want my clients to feel that I am approachable and that I offer a professional and confidential service at a reasonable cost. I do not insist that my clients see me or contact me only in office hours and my preference is to see my clients in their own home where they feel most comfortable. I want my clients to feel that they can explore all their options and I want to be able to provide them with the correct information to enable them to make good decisions. I have a background in financial services spanning 25 years. During that time, I worked for a high street bank for around 15 years in various roles in customer services, mortgage advice and financial advice. More recently, I worked for 10 years for an Independent Financial Adviser gaining much knowledge and experience in dealing with all aspects of financial affairs, trusts, etc. I believe this prepared me well for my Will writing career.
