Alycia's Barbell

From an early age I wanted to be strong. Not just strong for a girl, but just strong. I grew up with an abusive father who instilled nothing but fear and doubt into me. I spent most of my teenage years developing terrible boundary expectations and I had zero confidence in myself. When my father was finally sent to prison and I went away to college,... I finally felt FREE for the first time. And you know what I wanted to learn how to do when I got there? How to lift weights. Learning how to strength train taught me more truth than my father ever did. It taught me how much I was actually capable of. It taught me that I can reach my goals if I step out of my comfort zome, give it my all, and believe in myself. It taught me that I am in control of my strength, my future, and my happiness. From there, I expanded to learn more about nutrition to not only be strong as hell, but achieve the physique I wanted, on my terms. This is why I created Alycia's Barbell, LLC. It is a place for women to learn how to become strong and achieve a physique they are proud of despite the adversity they face.
