From 1979 to the mid 1990's Altech mainly concentrated on Government construction projects at Red River Army Depot, Lone Star Ammunition Plant and The Crops of Engineers. Altech was recognized for outstanding contributions and services to the nation by the Federal Procurement Systems in 1987. In 1993, Altech, Inc. was one of the only 149 companies nationwide to receive a Administration's Award for Excellence from the U.S. Small Business Adminstration. In the mid 1990's, Altech moved more into the commerical, instutional and industrial projects.
