ALQatari Fruits was established in 1943. It is a Bahraini private owned company specialized in import, re-export and wholesale of fresh fruit and vegetables. Over 69 years ago ALQatari Fruits established itself as a major fresh fruits and vegetables supplier to the retail sector in most of the GCC countries. Currently, ALQatari Fruits W.L.L clients... include some of Bahrain's biggest supermarkets as well as companies in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah, Dammam, Riyadh) Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and other countries in the Middle East. Throughout this period Al Qatari Fruits have established a reputation of dealing in large volumes of high quality fresh product for the Kingdom of Bahrain and Gulf markets. In 1997 ALQatari Fruits was operating from its sister company Al Mashriq Fresh Fruit. In 2003, Al Mashriq Fresh Fruit was sold, but for the next 5 years Al-Mashriq Fresh Fruit has remained under the management of ALQatari Fruits. Since its establishment Al Qatari Fruits has acted as an intermediary, this has given them the opportunity to establish a personal relationship with exporters, growers and buyers and has allowed them to increase the number of clients they have. Currently, Al Qatari Fruits are regarded as being a front runner in the market and have been doing business all over the world with fruits and vegetables being imported from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas and Australia we have been able to give the growers the best prices and the buyers the highest quality of fruits and vegetables at the lowest possible prices.
