Alpha School

Alpha School maintains a select group of staff who have been trained in non-violent crisis intervention through the Handle With Care behavior management system. The core philosophy behind the Handle With Care program is to reduce tension in a crisis situation and to use preventative actions that result in a decrease in the need for the use of physi... cal restraint. The program also promotes the use of prompt, skillful and appropriate intervention when physical restraint is necessary. The program seeks to create a universal perception of physical and psychological safety in the school environment.
