Its true; Im stepping out of the computer repairs and networking to pursue Digital Marketing. I spent 16 years out in the field serving local clients, and I wouldnt trade it for the world. However, my ambitions and the need of clients have turned toward online marketing. In the months following Hurricane Michael, there was time for reflection and p... rayer. Time is now for moving forward. AOCS started way back in 1994 with my husband looking for a name for a side business. You see, colleagues at work were repeatedly asking him to fix their PCs. With the help of a friend, we began doing business as Alpha Omega Computer Solutions. Advancements in the Information Technology field compelled us to relocate in 1995 to our current residence. Randy continued to help folks on the side. I assisted but kept having babies. Side note, we have six! Business kept coming despite the lack of advertising. Many needed networking, which put us in a tight spot. Randy was already working a full-time job. Traveling on-site when clients needed him most was a problem. I began doing more. Dont ask me how I just did. Business excites me, so I hit the books and pursued certifications. My husband stepped down due to some health issues, and well, the years have come and gone. Its never been about pursuing much profit, more about helping people. They ask, and we do our best. Between homeschooling and other reasons, we decided not to grow the business outside the family. Our son followed his Dads footsteps. He worked with us for a while and now has a career in the IT world. Our two youngest boys are still at home. They are now ages 14 and 10. Doing business energizes me, and theres a growing need for Digital Marketing. For me to give more in this area, I stepped down from the hardware and networking side of PCs.
