Alnoor School is a not-for-profit organization registered under Alnoor Learning Inc. Since the school first opened its doors in September 2003, it continues its message to provide its students with quality of education. At Alnoor School we always explore innovative ways of improving students' academic progress and enhancing their moral values. We b... elieve that integrating modern techniques in teaching with learning practices will make our teaching more meaningful and productive. We will continue to provide a healthy and safe environment to our students. Alnoor School program is provided for students from JK to G8 and consists of two parts. The first part is the Arabic language which is sponsored by the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board CCE International Languages program from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. The second part is the Extended Program - Islamic study which is sponsored by Alnoor Learning from 12:30 pm to 2:15 pm. During this program, students will have the opportunity to learn Arabic Language, Cultural studies, and Islamic Education. The curriculum includes Quran memorization with correct pronunciation along with basic Islamic manners, and Sira of the prophets. Currently the school has 15 classes and over 300 students registered which are expected to increase this academic year. The school has 11 Arabic Language levels (JK, SK, Beginners, L1 to L8). Each class has 18 to 25 students. The school is run by 15 qualified and well experienced teachers assisted by 25 volunteers. All school teachers and volunteers are authorized by the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board. At Alnoor School, we believe that parents play a major role in the education process. With parents' involvement, the school can achieve its goal. This reflects positively on raising successful, and productive citizens.
