In 1982, C.B.M. diversified and began importing work gloves and household gloves into Canada under the STURRDI brand n... ame. We introduced our "Shock Absorber Cushion Palm", gloves with a special soft pad inserted into the palm to ease the pressure on the wearer's hand. In 1992, Mr. Alexander Gestetner joined the company as Director of the STURRDI brand glove division. Allesco Inc has become an important Canadian importer providing major chain stores and distribution centers with products ranging from industrial gloves, household gloves, a gardening glove assortment, ski gloves and sports gloves designed for Canadian winters and a beautiful collection of leather and suede fashion gloves.
