Allergy & Asthma Center

The Allergy and Asthma Center has been providing state of the art care for patients with allergic and immunologic disorders since 1983. We have sponsored yearly community screening for undiagnosed asthma in conjunction with the ACAAI to help insure that individuals with asthma are receiving proper treatment. The Allergy and Asthma Center supported... the annual Washington County Health System Asthma Camp for children with asthma by providing personnel, funding and educational resources. Our practice also supports the Community Free Clinic on an annual basis. We regularly participated in allergy and asthma educational programs for school nurses and other school health personnel because they are a vital link in providing the best possible care of children with allergic disorders. Annually, we administer a scholarship program through the American Academy of Allergy for Students with Asthma who have performed with excellence in their academic studies. The doctors have volunteered their expertise to various committees such as the Governor's Asthma Taskforce, The Summit Health Latex Allergy Committee, the Pediatric Collaborative Committee at WCHS, the Institutional Review Board for Ethical Clinical Research at WCHS and the Washington County School Health Council. Allergy and Asthma Center has participated in various national clinical research studies on treatment of allergic rhinitis, asthma and food allergy.
