We are providing this service to the many small businesses and professionals, displaced by Hurricane Katrina, free of charge. We understand how important a strong and viable small business community is to the City of New Orleans and the nation overall. We understand the strength, the stamina, the long hours and dedication required of small business... owners. We understand that behind every small business door is a person or family; a friend or loved one; a neighbor; a mentor; a contributing member of society. We are aware that many of you have lost homes, family members, friends and more to Hurricane Katrina. We can't take away those problems but we can make communication and networking in your business community something you also don't need to worry about. We want to do our part to help sustain the small business community - the strength of New Orleans - through this very trying and troublesome time. It is with great sorrow that we face this task. The loss and devastation ahead of all of us - not just those directly affected by Hurricane Katrina - but ALL of us as a global community - will be hard to confront and deal with. We are heart broken and humbled by what we have witnessed here. Few cities in this country possess New Orleans' very rich and unique culture.
