The combined firms will collectively command better brand recognition, allow for new product development and will enable the sharing of "best in class" risk management and corporate governance policies. Aligned AM will strive to maintain the energetic, entrepreneurial environment inherent in smaller companies, while adding the investment breadth and operating infrastructure typical in larger organizations. We generally will seek to acquire a majority (50% - 70%) of the equity of prospective member firms.
