Align MD

The Align MD Foundation was founded out of a heart to serve hurting people worldwide. A first century physician once said, "to whom has been given much, much will be expected. It is our heart's desire to share the gifts we have been given with others. As an organization, Align MD works toward excellence in all areas, but above this goal, we also be... lieve in helping those who cannot give back. In nearly every faith tradition there is a story describing the greatest of all commandments. In every case the command is to love God and serve people. Align MD Foundation's goals are to "love God, and people through medical missions and clinic operations around the globe." We also partner with other nonprofit organizations that have clinics in areas of severe poverty or areas that are underserved medically. Some clinics are located inside the US at homeless shelters and other similar locations, but we plan to mainly staff clinics in countries that are severely impoverished, lacking access to basic medical care. Clinics are not necessarily intended to focus on disaster situations, although they may start that way. Our heart is that the clinics will be permanent fixtures in a community, as an avenue to love and build relationships over time. The Align MD Foundation will provide a continuing rotation of medical professionals to the clinics for the purpose of continuous medical care to the people served by the clinic. Understanding that many medical providers cannot afford to have a break in their income stream, the foundation will pay a small amount to the providers to offset the financial loss of 30 days of no income.
