Alberta Collegiate Robotics

Founded in 2013, Alberta Collegiate Robotics is a University of Calgary club, a FIRST alumni group, and a registered non-profit. Our club consists of Robotics, Mechatronics, and Tech enthusiasts who love to create, make, and share projects. We aim to create the leaders of tomorrow by providing a safe, fun, and challenging environment for youth and... post-secondary students to engage with engineering and robotics. If you are a student who wants to get a mix of technical experience, volunteerism through STEM outreach, and get involved within the local youth Robotics community, AC Robotics is the team for you! AC Robotics strives to involve youth to become the leaders of tomorrow by engaging them in entertaining and intriguing science and technology based projects where their innovative attitude is inspired as they gain confidence to become professionals in their area of interest. At AC Robotics, we believe that the greatest inspiration and motivation comes from youth. They have the ability to shape the future. We also believe that youth understand each other best. Therefore, our programs are not only targeted at youth groups, but they are also developed and organized by other youth. We aim to develop leadership qualities, including teamwork, cooperation and effective communication, in all the activities that we do.
