Air to All

Air to All is a mission-driven community. We started as a community of volunteers from around the world who connected online with a shared desire to help people in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. In just four months, we designed two unique medical devices, our Air One PAPR and Model A Ventilator , that we can produce at scale by the end of this... year. Hundreds of volunteer projects formed this year to tackle COVID-19 challenges. Air to All is a leading example of the power of this collective energy to create unique solutions to global shortages in record time. Our mission is to ensure everyone has access to safe affordable medical devices. Air to All is a nonprofit startup. Our master plan outlines why its important that Air to All is a nonprofit. Being a nonprofit gives us the freedom to chase our mission without having to answer to shareholders or worry about potential acquirers. At the same time, we need to make Air to All self-sustainable quickly through product sales so we dont have to rely on grants or donations to keep our organization running. Nonprofit startups blend these two key objectives (independence and sustainability) into one organization that can attack systemic problems without being corrupted by the system itself. We look to nonprofits like the Red Cross and Mayo Clinic for inspiration on how to build sustainable business models that can drive decades of innovation and public service without relying on government or private funding. Air to All is a disruptive innovator. This is a unique time where the rapid development and approval of new medical devices is possible in months, not years. Air to All will enter markets with new medical devices that meet COVID-19 regulatory standards at the lowest prices and then rapidly improve product quality until were winning on both price and quality.
