About AI Whoo
Dr. Saponaro is the founder and CEO of A.I. Whoo LLC, a data-driven, Artificial Intelligence company aimed to improve population-level health outcomes through artificially intelligent solutions. Dr. Saponaro's research aims to improve machine learning techniques to assess and improve physical activity. At the University of Delaware, he received his Ph.D. in developing machine learning techniques for just-in-time adaptive interventions using multiple real-time input sensors (e.g. wearables and mobile devices). Through his Artificial Intelligence startup, A.I. Whoo LLC, he has developed computer vision models, through the consulting arm, to assess scooter counts and detect insects from raw video footages.
