Ahli Microfinance

Ahli Microfinance Company is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Jordan Ahli Bank, established in July 1999, and is the first microfinance company in the private sector in Jordan. AMC was the fruitful result of performing a study by Jordan Ahli Bank in cooperation with the USAID funded program "AMIR" (Achievement of Market Friendly Initiatives and... Results), to create a financial institution that offers credit to small businesses, supporting the march towards economic development, to in turn be able to provide clients and beneficiaries with tailored credit services with suitable or even no requirements in terms of guarantees, replacing such requirements with financial analyses and feasibility studies for each business in compliance with international policies, guidelines and best practices, under the milestone of "optimal work procedures". Ahli Microfinance Company's establishment actually executed Jordan Ahli Bank Strategy aiming at supporting the economy and sustainable development of The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and its keenness to render services to all economic sectors, especially micro businesses which do not have the many special guarantees required by banks. Ahli Microfinance Company is working as per a clear strategy aiming at improving its rendered services, continuously qualifying its staff by organizing various modern managerial trainings, and holding other social events to increase the general level of performance. Since establishment, the company has offered more than 138 million JD in form of loans for local small enterprises serving 154 thousand beneficiaries, through 200 qualified employees working through a wide network of 24 branches in addition to the headquarters.
