We're a local, independent, family-owned business that opened our doors in 1987. Since that time, we've been proud to be right at the heart of our community's explosive growth, welcoming nearly 100,000 new residents to the area. Larry Krischke - our Dad - got his start at Montgomery Insurance here in Saskatoon. Because the company was both an indep... endent brokerage and an insurance company carrying the actual insurance, Larry learned the ins and outs of the business from many angles. He worked his way from the ground up to become a partner in both Montgomery Agencies and Blue Insurance. But his independent spirit pushed him towards his own brokerage, his own vision. He wanted to parlay his knowledge and expertise into a superlative client experience, one based more on the quality of service than the volume of transactions. When the opportunity presented itself, he bought Montgomery Agencies and sold Blue Insurance. Soon after, through a merger, AGI (Affiliated General Insurance) was born. As his business grew, Larry brought in some extra help to work with him: we're Bill and Jeff Krischke, Larry's sons. We're now AGI's owners and managing partners. Our Dad has since retired, but we're still carrying out his primary mission: superlative client service. We're proud of the top-notch team of professionals that we've assembled.
