About AgFax

Conceived in the late 1980s by Owen Taylor and Debra Ferguson, AgFax was originally a series of newsletters faxed directly to farmers and crop consultants to relay real-time information about what was working on farms across the country. Over time, the communications kept up with technology to include a website, AgFax.com, described as a clearinghouse for the latest ag news, and electronic newsletters. Today, AgFax distributes three types of e-newsletters: Nightly summaries AgFax After Hours cover cotton, rice, peanuts, tree crops and grains. The year-round AgFax Weekend newsletter reaches a multi-crop audience in the South, Midwest and Western states. Weekly regional crop newsletters cover cotton, tree crops and rice, reaching growers and influencers during the growing season as they make real-time decisions. Farm Journal purchased AgFax in May 2021 after Owen Taylor and Debra Ferguson died in a car accident in December 2020. The popular AgFax products will fold nicely into Farm JournRead more

The popular AgFax products will fold nicely into Farm Journals digital portfolio and expand our service to growers and input companies active with those crops, said Andy Weber, Farm Journal CEO. We are committed and proud to continue to serve these growers with the dedication and helpful information theyve been accustomed to over the years.Read More
