The focus is on preventing further trauma to the family and prevention of child abuse. In all services we offer, trauma-informed approaches are implemented. Our services provide life skills training empowering the parents and giving families opportunities to overcome the various challenges they may be facing. Some of those challenges range from hom... elessness to domestic violence, mental illness, substance abuse, extreme poverty, trauma and other factors that stand in the way of a healthy and successful life. Our board of directors consists of teachers, social workers, local citizens and community advocates. Collectively as a group we have serviced more than 500 families through the Midwest for more than 18 years. We have seen 95% of the children reunified with their family after successful completion of services. The impact of our team can be seen in the thriving lives we have touched. We look forward to continuing our efforts in the State of Indiana. Our team is diverse, culturally competent, bilingual (English and Spanish) and ready to adapt to each case needs.
