About Affordables Apparel
Founded in 1969, Affordables first opened its doors as Lowell's in downtown Charleston offering modern trends in apparel and accessories. In the 1980's the store transitioned to Affordables by Lowell and continued its tradition of providing one-of-a-kind fashions at affordable prices. In 2012 the popular retail chain known as Affordables was purchased by Lyndon Amick. Today the company has grown to six stores throughout South Carolina and Georgia. The mission of Affordables has not changed, to offer an incredible selection of handpicked women's apparel and accessories at an affordable price while providing each visitor to our store with the best possible shopping experience.
