About Affordable Heating and Cooling
Affordable Heating and Cooling was founded in October, 2005 by Bryan and Beth Thumma, who saw a need in the area for a reliable heating and cooling company. With humble beginnings in a shed, on a dusty gravel road in rural Anamosa, they started a company to service their community and its surrounding areas. Due to the professionalism and dedication displayed by the owners and their employees, Affordable Heating and Cooling has flourished and grown into one of the largest HVAC companies in Iowa. It has received various awards during its growth such as; Top 10 North American Dealer in 2008, Lennox Centurion Award from 2010-2012, and Lennox Premier Dealer Award, 4 consecutive years from 2009-2012. Today, there are 48 employees in the Affordable family who come to the company with a wide range of experience and background.
