About Aerolytics

Aerolytics was founded in 2012 by Bill Bihlman. Its focus is improve market share and/or revenue for aerospace suppliers, from mill/forgers, to fabricators, assemblers and distributors. Bill started his career in 1995 as an engineer with Raytheon Aircraft . He held various positions, including company representative for the NASA AGATE consortium, and Project Engineer for a $75M Japanese SDF contract. At that time, he served as the company's youngest Project Engineer, and oversaw all aspects of design/test/certification, as well as managed production line trouble-shooting. Subsequently, Bill worked in South America for four years: positions included complex financial modeling and marketing strategy. More recently, Bill was Senior Consultant with AeroStrategy . Most clients were major multi-nationals firms. Bill is a regular conference speaker, and has spoken throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Topics include raw materials, manufacturing, and supply chain. He holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering, and a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, as well as an MBA and MPA from Cornell University.
