Advanced Broadband

Advanced Broadband is the product of years of innovation and experience which came from the initial years of Cyber Broadband Inc - which provides high speed internet using wireless technology to rural parts of Cullman County. Cyber Broadband was started by a group of friends in September 2004 and voted to invest in providing broadband connectivity... to its home area of Cullman County first. In late 2007, some of the Cyber Broadband investors wanted to expand and offer broadband service to other areas in need- so we have begun to form entities to do so. Advanced Broadband, which covers western Blount County, southern Cullman County, and surrounding areas, is wholly owned by Advanced Computer Solutions LLC. In late 2009, Advanced Broadband Capshaw LLC was formed by Jerry Head and Jay Fuller - the two primary individuals operating Advanced Broadband in Blount County. We are also pleased to announce we have Alex Dumas, formerly of Bama Wisp, on our team assisting in our efforts to provide broadband internet to rural parts of North Alabama. In the next year, Advanced Broadband plans to expand coverage west and south of it's current anchor point on Capshaw Mountain in Huntsville Alabama - to cover areas without broadband in parts of Madison, Limestone, and Morgan Counties.
