Dr. Katie Bunker AuD., a Manhattan, KS native, Graduated from Kansas State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science. She then went on to the University of Kansas Medical Center where she received her Doctorate in Audiology in 2013. She has been practicing in Abilene, Beloit and Concordia since June 2013. In June 2015, Dr.... Bunker decided to go out on her own and open a practice location in her hometown of Manhattan. Dr. Bunker and her husband Derek were married in May 2012 and welcomed their first little girl Finley Jo to the family in July 2014 and a second little girl Harper Jane in January 2017. Derek was born and raised in Manhattan. He is the Vice President of Operations for BD4 Distributing in Manhattan. Dr. Bunker is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Nita is from Northeast Ohio. In 1982 she relocated to Kansas with her two children. She received her Associate Degree of Applied Science at Garden City Community College in 1993. She has over 25 years experience working in an office. She moved to the Manhattan area in 1995 and has worked at Kansas State University and Manhattan Christian College. She received her first pair of hearing aids in 1990. In 2011 she became Dr. Katie Bunkers patient and in 2015 she joined Dr. Katie Bunker as the office manager for Advanced Audiology. Nita enjoys spending time with her daughter and grandchildren and is active in her church. She also enjoys making cards and other crafts.
