The company was founded by Klaus Geissler in Frankfurt in 2000. After Jochen Smoktun joined Klaus, the company was transformed into a GmbH. Shortly thereafter the US sister company, which currently has eight offices, was formed by Manfred Engst (no longer with the company) and Helmut Berchtold. Since its start the company also opened 8 offices in G... ermany and joint ventures were formed in Chile and the UK early on. In the meantime the adi Consult Group of Companies expanded its presence significantly and now has own offices and joint ventures in Germany, USA, Canada, Brazil, Chile, England, Netherlands, Italy, South Africa, U.A.E., Switzerland, India, New Zealand, France, Spain, Russia, Thailand, and Hong Kong. Through this presence, the company was able to significantly strengthen its competencies in the global Transport and Logistics market. Together, the founding partners in Germany and the US are managing the continued development of adi worldwide. Through its extensive service offering and presence, adi Consult has developed into the only globally operating consulting and placement company specializing in the Transport and Logistics Industry.
