Adamcin Equestrian Centre

Mary Ann Adamcin, the owner and head trainer of Adamcin Equestrian Centre, LLC, has been in the horse business since 1968. She initially worked in Ohio, where she apprenticed in three training barns. In the first, Mary Ann worked 10 years with Arabian show horses, and spent time starting young horses and working with problem horses. In the second b... arn, a Quarter Horse facility, Mary Ann spent 2 years learning dressage. In the third facility, a nationally known Quarter Horse training ranch, she spent 6 years working with 2017 Horseman of the Year, Dan Trein. During her amateur show career, Mary Ann showed Quarter Horses throughout the East and Midwest, earning many circuit championships and high-point all-arounds. She qualified several horses for the American Quarter Horse Association World Championship in hunter under saddle and hunt seat equitation, and was ranked third in the nation in hunt seat equitation. Mary Anns spouse, Roger, also was very involved in the horse industry. He focused on conditioning and fitting halter horses, and passed on his expertise to Mary Ann during their long marriage. Roger was President of the Northern Ohio Quarter Horse Association for 4 years, and ringmaster for the All American Quarter Horse Congress for 10 years. After moving to Arizona, Mary Ann and Roger opened what is now Adamcin Equestrian Centre, LLC in 1986. In 1994, they were featured in Horse & Rider magazine. Together, they operated the facility until Roger died unexpectedly in 2017. Mary Ann has continued the comprehensive program she developed for all riders and disciplines. She trains horses for show and pleasure riding, and offers Western and English lessons for riders at all levels.
