About A&D Supply
A&D Supply Company was founded in 1974 by George Hughes. A contractor by trade, Hughes recognized an industry need for full service distribution centers and opened A&D locations in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Over the next two decades, Hughes served as President, enlisting his family in the business. With his passing in 1994, Tulsa operations became led by son-in-law and daughter, Rick and Sherry Yates, and Oklahoma City operations became led by George Hughes II. In 2003, George Hughes II acquired A&D of Tulsa and added an operation in Rogers, Arkansas. He continued to serve as President until his retirement in 2012. In 2013, George Hughes III was named President. Under his leadership, A&D Supply continues to be a trusted source of construction professionals for quality materials, staff expertise, and timely deliveries.Explore more
