Mary Hollifield is the sole owner/proprietor of ACTS III, which began in April of 1994. Prior to starting this business, she was employed as a legal assistant for twenty years. While serving as a legal assistant, Mary accumulated 12 credit hours in the area of tax law at the local community college. In 1994 with the assistance of her current employ... er, a tax and estate attorney, ACTS III, a tax and accounting home-based business, began offering services in Accounting, Consulting and Taxes. Although the services focused on church and clergy tax law, the business also served small family-owned businesses that faced accounting needs beyond their budget constraints. In 2018 Jan Hadded joined ACTS III giving the company the ability to grow and take on new clients. Jans 20+ years of tax and accounting experience and knowledge have allowed the company to reach a broader client base. Jans experience ranges from government accounting, to small business accounting, and currently Jan serves as CFO for Fidura & Associates, Inc., a state wide Virginia business that provides residential housing for adults with intellectual disabilities. ACTS III currently services an average client base of fifty to sixty individuals, small businesses, churches, ministries and non-profit organizations -and is available for assistance in the areas of software and accounting set-up, training personnel, problem resolutions, as well as contract accounting services in Contributions, AP, GL, Payroll flexible & customized to each ministrys needs.
