ACT Houston offers its preparation program Institutes several times throughout the year and with a choice of daytime or evening schedules. There are no enrollment deadlines, so you can select... the Institute that works best for you. In the Institute, you will be actively engaged in face-to-face, interactive, hands-on sessions taught by certified, master teachers who have been selected from local school districts. ACT Houston's curriculum is a "nuts & bolts" approach developed by educators to provide you with what you most need to know and be able to do as a beginning classroom teacher.
