Gender Equality Data Collaborative members actively work to: End all forms of discrimination against all women and girls everywhere. Eliminate all forms of violence against all women and girls in the public and private spheres, including trafficking and sexual and other types of exploitation Productively engage with other members, as well as governments and other NGOs on a national and global level. Use the Data4Equality survey tool to collect and share information. Commit to transparency, accountability and good governance in your work. Commit to a child safeguarding code of conduct and declare whether they have their own child safeguarding policy in place at the time of joining ACESWorld Gender Equality Data Collaborative. In case of absence of such policy, members will be required to sign their commitment to the Girls Not Brides Safeguarding Code of Conduct. Raise awareness of the impact of unavailability of menstrual hygiene management and reproductive health education on girls education and health, economic opportunity and the health of future generations. Amplify the voices of girls and defend the rights of girls to health, education and the opportunity to fulfill their potential in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Raise awareness of the barriers encountered by girls and encourage open, inclusive and informed discussion at the community, local, national and global level. Data helps to confirm anecdotal evidence and tells the stories of thousands of girls, but the story of one girl makes it meaningful. Who can join ACESWorld Girls Data Collaborative? ACESWorld Gender Equality Data Collaborative is open to civil society organizations committed to gender equality. ACESWorld GEDC organizations must want to participate in the GEDC, collect data using Data4Equality survey tool and share their data, resource and expertise with other members.Read more
