Ace Transport was originally founded as Etheridge Transport. The name was changed to Ace Transport in 1978. Our founder, Hamp Etheridge, built the company on the idea that "Service Makes the Difference. We pride ourselves for our dedication to the services provided to our customers. Currently our company operates a 24/7 call center that dispatches... a fleet of over 30 trucks. Our fleet is computerized which allows for automated dispatch of our drivers and BPS tracking of deliveries. Loading information is captured electronically and transmitted back to our office's billing system. This improves accuracy and efficiency and it allows our drivers to concentrate on serving our customers. At Ace Transport, we make every effort to ensure that we are satisfying the needs of our customers. As part of our service, we pay particular attention to the ever fluctuating market. Deliveries are closely monitored so that our customers garner the best prices. We also offer inventory monitoring. Our team will monitor your fuel levels and provide deliveries as needed. We even welcome same day deliveries. We understand that every customer has different needs. We are prepared to create a customized delivery plan to meet each customer's needs. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and has been in various roles in the petroleum industry for the past 10 years. He is an expert in transportation and prides himself on ensuring that all of Ace's customers receive excellent service. Kelley joined Ace Transport in February 2008, bringing with her more than 15 years of experience in all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and cash management.
