A nationally certified and accredited laboratory, Accutest Laboratories Ltd. provides analytical services in support of landfill monitoring, environmental site assessments, remediation, drinking water quality, regulatory compliance, and more. Accutest has been the laboratory of choice for such work in the Eastern Ontario region since 1987and routin... ely analyzes soil, water, effluent, leachate, waste, air, animal feed and other matrices for a broad range of contaminants. Accutest is 100% Canadian owned and operated, with laboratories located in Nepean (Metro Ottawa), and Kingston, Ontario. In addition, Accutest has a sales representative and regional office in Thorold to coordinate business development and client services for the Southern Ontario region. The main laboratory in Nepean occupies 8000 square feet of customized space, while the Kingston laboratory maintains 2000 square feet. Accutest employs 35 to 40 full-time technical and administrative employees, depending on seasonal changes in workload. Accutest has coordinated the analytical work for many significant environmental projects throughout Canada such as a major sampling effort by Public Works and Government Services Canada at various Transport Canada sites and native reserves in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Internationally, we have provided on-site consulting services to the Governments of Guyana, Honduras and Argentina, for projects sponsored by the World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank.
