The AccuCorp group of companies. The story behind AccuCorp is actually built on the success of one its fantastic assets, Accuweigh, and the many opportunities that this business has afforded to its shareholders and employees alike. In 1992, two years after the mighty Adelaide Crows were announced to the AFL, founding partners Brenton Cunningham and... Greg Brogan launched Accuweigh in the very same city. It grew to become South Australia's largest scale company before the pair's sights were set on expansion. Perth became Accuweigh's first branch office and not long after the acquisition of the Avery Scales agency for Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales turned a growing company into something of a weighting and scales powerhouse. The adoption of Salter Weightronix in 2001 (renamed Salter Australia) strengthened the company's product offering and, at the time, included the employment of some 65 people throughout Australia. Intelligent acquisitions of businesses that were complementary to services provided by Accuweigh were made. Queensland Weighing Machines (QWM), based in Brisbane and Sydney, then New South Wales' Budpak Packaging Systems and Melbourne's Conpak tipped the number of employees to more than 100 and also boosted the group's expertise in packaging. The AccuCorp group of comapnies is now the largest weighing, filling, packaging and inspection equipment supplier in Australia, with the ability to supply simple solutions up to complete turnkey systems.
