Absorbco is a 95-year-old family-owned business that got its start in Columbus, Ohio. The company actually began as a multi-faceted business involved in recycling scrap metals, corrugated materials, paper and textiles. In the years since, Absorbco has grown into a leading manufacturer and distributor of both new and recycled wiping cloths in the Un... ited States. We are known to grade, sort and cut over 30,000 pounds per day, keeping useable textiles in circulation and out of the landfills. Since 1995, the manufacturing plant has been located in Walterboro, South Carolina, with distribution points throughout the country. A large part of Absorbco's success is due to the owners' experience and involvement in day-to-day operations, as well as our emphasis on customer service. We feel strongly about maintaining minimal lead times on orders. Orders received prior to noon are typically shipped the same day and orders placed after noon are typically shipped the next day.
