ABMEtech was founded by David J. Leahy BSc (Hons) Pharmacology, in 2003, in response to the growing demands from the aesthetic practitioner in the UK. From these modest beginnings, ABMEtech went from strength to strength through 2003-2009 with the distribution of the constantly evolving series of internationally acclaimed, Fotona Laser Systems and... a parade of aesthetic procedure consumables that proved outstanding performance. These laurels were capped with the launch of the Leahy Lipolysis Probe in 2008 that made the surgical procedure of laser lipolysis, with all laser lipolysis systems, an easier and safer task. If we had a mission statement back then, it could not have been expressed more eloquently than in the words of David J. Leahy himself, "To distribute the best aesthetic and surgical laser technology, with the best associated consumables in their class". These words are just as relevant today as they continue to inform our beliefs, actions and ambitions for the future.
