AARF Pet Central

Established in 2010. AARF Pet Central is the home of AARF (Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends). We are located in the heart of Stone Mountain Village, just a few blocks from Main Street, and within easy access to Highway 78 and I-285. We're open 6 days a week, including late hours on weekdays. The proceeds from the pet retail store, DIY dog baths and tr... aining and educational classes held at AARF Pet Central support our foster and adoption programs. AARF Pet Central is the home of (AARF) Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends. AARF is a 501(c)3 animal welfare organization, licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture. We were founded in 2002, and have saved the lives of over 1000 pets from euthanasia at county shelters. We are a no-kill organization, which means we never euthanize pets, except in extreme circumstances where a pet is in untreatable pain or illness. Our programs include: foster/adoption program, Casper's Fund Spay/Neuter Program, Silver Paws Program (a seniors for seniors program), Kids N Kritters and Not One More. Through Casper's Fund, we have subsidized almost 1200 spay/neuter surgeries for pet owners in the Atlanta metro area.
