Confidential waste destruction and disposal is our business. Under the Data Protection Act 1998 every company has a legal responsibility to protect all confidential information belonging to customers and employees. This is a legal requirement. If a company does not abide by the Data Protection Act then they could face prosecution. Bearing that in mind, we do the utmost to make 100% sure that your confidential waste is handled correctly. This includes: Registration on the Data Protection Register. Registration of a Waste Carriers' Licence. Liability Insurance. These can all be checked on our downloads page. AA Waste staff are security vetted on an ongoing yearly basis, they are uniformed and have ID Cards. We use newly registered unmarked vehicles with satellite navigation and mobile tracking. On collection we provide a certificate of clearance/waste transfer consignment note with driver's signature, which are kept on record for 6 years. Your waste does not leave the vehicle until it reaches the depot, where it is unloaded and shredded with 16mm, cross cut shredder, normally the same day, baled and then sent on to the paper mills for pulping or recycling.
