A1 Saddlery is located in Northeast Alabama and is family owned. We have been proudly producing custom hand-made saddles for the general public and the NBHA since 1986. In fact, many of our quality leather saddles have been featured in NBHA horse competitions. Over the years we have sold more than one hundred saddles to the NBHA for competition. A1 Saddlery takes great pride in producing our saddles and Tack supplies. Our tradition of carefully preparing quality horse saddles and tack to our customers and resellers specifications, using only the finest materials, is but one of the things that makes our saddle and tack of the highest quality. For our saddles, A 1 Saddlery only uses Equifit horse saddle trees. Equifit has been producing horse saddle trees since the 1800's and they are by far the best horse saddle tree manufacturer that we know of. We also only use American Leather hides in our saddles. A1 Saddlery refuses to purchase cheaper hides as we know that a quality made saddle is what our customers want, and a quality made saddle that will last for years, and years, is what A1 Saddlery is committed to produce.
