A Postpartum Doula

My name is Jennifer Warner, and I am a Birth Arts International Trained Postpartum Doula. I am currently and proudly serving Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks County. As a mother for the first time at the age of 20, I began my journey through new motherhood and all of its accompanying opportunities and complexities at a young age. Overwhelme... d with simultaneous hope and fear, I knew even then that I had found my purpose. My sole focus became growing and moving my baby through me and into the world with abilities I could muster. I'd soon learn that those first and quintessential moments where both a baby and a new mother are born are the most important in existence. I wanted to give myself to them wholly. In order to do that I needed help, and I consider myself charmed to have had an abundance of it. My village is my world. They came equipped with groceries, references, advice, a shoulder, and so much more. The bounties of intangible gifts we received from these people made way for an astounding start for our new family. Everyone deserves this. Everyone deserves the safety and substructure that a village provides should they choose to lean on it. One that allows you to move through the absolute gift that is motherhood with unwavering support and encouragement; one that makes the most room for all the focus and fervor our children deserve; one that is unique to you and your individual journey. After bringing four perfect little loves into the world, now more than ever I feel an intrinsic calling to provide this sense of support through my work as a doula, for any families looking for their village, for as long as I possibly can.Read More
