Olde City Abstract, Inc. is a Pennsylvania corporation which was formed in October 1981. The principal purpose of the company is to act as a duly authorized licensed title insurance agent in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We are also an authorized title insurance agent in the State of New Jersey, mostly as an accommodation to our Pennsylvania cu... stomers. Olde City Abstract is a fully insured agency that is in complete statutory compliance with all Pennsylvania Insurance Department standards. Pennsylvania statutory insurance requirements include a surety bond on the company which provides protection to any persons doing business with the agency. Another requirement provided is a fidelity bond on all employees with banking fiduciary authority. Olde City's client base includes, but is not limited to area realtors, builders and developers, attorneys, banks, mortgage companies, individual investors, and various state and municipal agencies as well as non-profit groups. Our total annual number of closings has averaged between 750 and 950 over the past three years and we expect to maintain that level of activity.
